How Can Fall River Health Services help?

Fall River Health Services Swing Bed Program is a Medicare based program that provides extended care to those needing additional time to rebuild their strength following an acute injury, illness, or surgery.

Let our highly skilled Swing Bed Team provide you with the answers to all your questions.

Physical and Occupational Therapy will work with you to strengthen your hip after surgery. They will provide education on safe ways to walk, transfer and perform daily cares until you are back to your baseline. Our Providers and nurses will treat your pain and monitor for infection.

Nursing, under the direction of our Providers and Pharmacy Team, will administer your antibiotics, monitor lab levels and adjust cares accordingly to ensure your infection is treated. Physical, Occupational, Speech and Respiratory Therapy will also be there to help rebuild your strength.

Our Speech and Language Pathologist will evaluate your spouse, provide treatment, teach safe swallowing techniques and provide guidance for cognitive health as the brain heals. Our Occupational and Physical Therapists will work with your spouse to help heal and strengthen the body.

Our Discharge Care Coordinator will work with you, your family and the Swing Bed Team to determine needs and collaborate care in your home.
